Sunsets - 3/16/2007 - Airport : This was my first attempt at capturing a sunset. Considering I was using a 50mm prime lens and didn't own a tripod at the time, they came out so-so. The viewer can tell that it is a sunset, but their emotions won't be stirred by it. I did a lot of experimentation using different aperture, shutter speeds, and ISO settings. Now that I own a Canon 17-55mm IS USM lens and a tripod I will be going back to try again. Practice makes perfect. If you have any comments or suggestions on proper the technique, I'd be glad to receive them. Just post a comment below.
